Septic
systems work best when serviced on a regular basis. We have been
servicing the area’s septic systems since 1960
according to standards established by the guidelines developed
by the Pennsylvania Septic Management Association. Based
upon that experience, we recommend that you pump your tank every
two to four years.
Individual factors such as heavy wash days, use of anti bacterial
soaps and bleach, and season/weekend use may all impact the operation
of the septic system and may accelerate the transfer of solids
from the septic tank to the septic system’s drainfield. As
a result, your system may need to be pumped more frequently.
Transferring solids into the system’s drainfield will lead
to an expensive system replacement!
Call our experienced operators to discuss your system’s
particular service needs. Remember, “An ounce of prevention
is worth a pound of cure” when it comes to maintaining your
septic tank and drainfield.
Once we establish your systems's maintenance schedule, we’ll
send you a reminder by mail or email, to make sure that we continue
to service your system as required.
Septic Tank Cleaning is also an opportunity for our qualified
and experienced technicians to visually evaluate your system for
other issues that may affect your system’s performance such
as deteriorated baffles, cracked lids, a tank level too
high, or if it looks like solids have been pumped to the drainfield
and bio remediation of the drainfield might be necessary.
